As the Lead Game Designer on PikaRoyale, I helped shape a battle royale experience centered around system-driven gameplay and strategic depth. The core of the design revolves around Pikamoons, AI-driven companions that influence combat through abilities, buffs, and utility, fundamentally changing how players approach encounters.
Alongside this, I worked on integrating dynamic systems such as reactive weather, corruption zones that force movement, and procedural surfaces that introduce environmental effects and unpredictability. Combined with melee-focused combat, diverse playstyles, and a progression-driven loop, the goal was to create a more engaging and constantly evolving battle royale experience
