I worked on designing the next iteration of Police Pals for the Singapore Police Force, creating an open-world experience aimed at educating younger audiences on the consequences of everyday decisions. The game was built around exploration and social play, allowing players to navigate a shared world, encounter dynamic scenarios, and learn through their actions rather than direct instruction.
The core design focused on reinforcing positive behavior through a progression system where players earn rewards by making the right choices. Players could explore freely, interact with others, and come across situations such as returning lost items or committing small crimes, with each decision leading to different outcomes. The goal was to create a system where consequences were clearly felt, encouraging learning through gameplay rather than forced messaging.
